Global Use

GMHAT/PC was developed to support mental health assessments across diverse populations. It has been translated into more than 10 languages and is used in several countries. GMHAT/PC is validated in English, Hindi, Marathi, Arabic, Spanish, Kannada and Netherlands. Globally, the tool is used by a wide range of healthcare professionals and has been integrated into the UK Government Home Office’s initial assessment framework for migrants, alongside the International Organisation of Migration’s health assessment. It has been included in the Home Office (UK) health assessment protocol.
